Directions and Road Condition

  • Access Road: 4x4 Trail
  • Closest Town: Maun
  • Directions to campsite: Nearest town is Maun - 170km. Drive from Maun to Makalamabedi village from where you leave the tar road 10 metres before the Makalamabedi Veterinary Gate to the right. Follow this good surface two track road up to Kuke Corner Veterinary gate where the road swerves to the right. Brakah is 20km from Kuke corner on the Haina Kalahari Lodge property. From Rakops - 23km pass the police station on the tar road, our turn off to the left is on a big cutline road - clear sign board on your left. From here 50km to Kuke Veterinary gate, pass through the gate and continue on the northern border another 20km to our sign board on the right. From Ghanzi towards Sehitwa, you go through the Main Kuke veterinary fence and take a sharp right directly thereafter - sign board, continue on this good 2 track sand road for about 3hours to our gate on the left side.
