  • Directions to campsite: Once you leave Francistown head north on the A3, which is the Nata/Kasane road, you travel out past the Orapa turnoff and exactly 2 km after that you will see our "Woodlands Stop Over" signs (10 km from Francistown). Turn right onto dirt and then follow the signs for another 7 km. Please do not stop along the dirt road. We are well sign posted and you will be directed straight to the campsite reception.

  • Comments: Situated on the site of the original "Hunters Road" previously travelled by hunters, naturalists, explorers and missionaries on their way to the Victoria Falls in the 18th Century. Woodlands makes an ideal stop over en-route to the Okavango Swamps, Chobe Game Reserve, Central Kalahari, Makgadigadi Pans, Botswana National Parks and Victoria Falls. Woodlands offer lawned campsites as well as bush campsites.
