Directions to campsite: To reach Koelkrans Campsite at the Fish River Guest Farm: Coming from Keetmanshoop : Leave Keetmanshoop and drive for 32km on the B4 towards Luderitz, until you see the signboard, which reads "Naute Dam". Turn left here on the D545. Continue for 33km until the T-junction with the C12. Turn left on the C12 and continue for 32km, until you see a sign board to the right, which reads "FISH RIVER GUEST FARM". Turn right after about 500m, over the railway track and continue for 22km until you reach the Farmhouse. Coming from Seeheim : drive 60km on the C12, until you see the signboard, which reads "FISH RIVER GUEST FARM". After about 500m, turn right and continue for 22km until you reach the guest farm. Coming from Hobas : Take the D601 towards the C12 road. Turn left when you reach the C12. Continue on the C12 for 18km until you see the sign board, which reads "FISH RIVER GUEST FARM". After about 500m, turn left and continue for 22km until you reach the guest farm. Distances : Windhoek to Fish River Guest Farm : 620km (7, 5 hours) Keetmanshoop to Fish River Guest Farm : 120km (1, 5 hours) Ai-Ais to Fish River Guest Farm: 115km (2 hours) Luderitz to Fish River Guest Farm: 400km (5 hours)

Comments: The only campsite located at the floor of the Fish River Canyon in Namibia. Swimming in the natural pools a must!
Additional Comments: Campsite in a nature reserve and part of 4x4 trail (only open from 1 Aptil to 31 October due to the hot summer months)
