Directions and Road Condition

  • Access Road: Tar road
  • Closest Town: Bergville
  • Directions to campsite: From Durban turn off the N3 at the Winterton/Colenso turn off and pass through Winterton and Bergville. Turn left at the Drakensberg North Signboard. It is approximately 20km from there to the Royal Natal entrance gate. From Harrismith turn right and travel 5km on the Bethlehem road where you turn left onto the R74/R712 at the Phutadijaba sign. Turn left again 8km along this road at the Bergville/Oliviershook pass/R74 sign. Turn right at the Drakensbeg North sign. The park is approximately 20km from this turn off. Please follow signage to Mont-aux-Sources. All routes are tarred
