Directions and Road Condition

  • Access Road: Gravel road & 4x4 trail
  • Closest Town: Groot Marico
  • Directions to campsite: 8 km Past Groot Marico (on the Zeerust road) turn left on the Rietvalley road. This road becomes a dirt road. About 10 km further the road splits, keep left on the Kuilfontein road. After another 10 km, turn left on the Draaifontein road. Stop at the first house on your left after the bridge to collect the keys.

Comments, Rules and Notes

  • Comments: The campsite is about 2 km from our main road, in our veld, next to the river with beautiful cliffs. It was designed to accommodate groups of family or friends. We allow only 1 group at a time. There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower, the most we have had so far was 20 people. You can choose to put your tent or trailer where you want. There is no electricity, water is pumped from the river.
