  • Directions to campsite: Follow the R382 from Port Nolloth towards the Alexanderbay turn-off. Continue straight on, the road changes into gravel that continues mostly along the river. Drive past Beauvallon Ostrich Farm and about 28 km from Alexanderbay you will see the entrance to your left. Turn in and turn left again before the houses, follow the arrows towards the campsite.

  • Comments: Brandkaros campsite provides accomodation in a peaceful setting with the necessary facilities to blend in with the surrounding environment. The green vegetation of the farm is in contrast to the surrounding desert landscape, and is an ideal resting place for the weary traveller. Camelthorn trees provide shade from the mostly warm climate, and the swimming pool is refreshing in the heat. Enjoy the sunsets, the stars and the call of the fish eagle.
