Directions and Road Condition

  • Access Road: Gravel road
  • Closest Town: Montagu
  • Directions to campsite: Via De Doorns N1: Follow the N1 past Worcester, through De Doorns. Turn right on R318 to Montagu. Travel for approximately 26 km and then turn left onto a gravel road to Nougaspoort. Travel +/- 18 km and then turn right at a T-junction to Montagu via Ouberg. Travel +/- 19 km and then turn right into farms Desert Wind/Keurfontein. Travel through Keurfontein farm until the next farm gate which belongs to Desert Wind. Main house is approximately 1 km from this gate. Stay on this road, do not turn off anywhere to your right. Via Montagu R60: Follow N1 to Worcester. Turn right onto R60 Robertson/Ashton/Montagu. Once you get to Montagu, drive through the town and turn left at the sign that reads Talana, Ouberg, Mont Eco. You will now be driving on gravel road. Go over the low water bridge. Pass the sign for Mont Eco. Drive over Ouberg Pas. Turn left at the sign that reads Touwsriver/Ladismith. Continue driving straight past the sign that reads Bloutoring. Turn left into farms Desert Wind/Keurfontein. Travel through Keurfontein farm until the next farm gate which belongs to Desert Wind. Main house is approximately 1 km from this gate. Stay on this road, do not turn off anywhere to your right.
