  • Comments: Take a short drive (30 mins) & leave the city hustle bustle behind to relax at Fat Pony- a family run farm backpackers on the doorstep of Cape Winelands. Fat Pony welcome families, motorcyclists & international backpackers. Relax & unwind among guava trees & palms. Enjoy the freedom to do whatever you choose- chill out with a good book, join in a horse riding lesson, hire a bike & go for a joll or book a winetasting or township tour with Alan.
  • Additional Comments: Campsite at a Backpackers Lodge on a farm
  • Special rules: When sharing the campsite with other campers, please be respectful & keep noise levels to a minimum. No loud music, radios, drumming, guitar, generators...etc. If you are part of a large group using the campsite exclusively, you can make as much noise as you wish- on condition that you don’t scare our local birds, horses & ponies!
