  • Comments: Simonskloof is all about sustainability, thus down to earth and back to nature. In this sense we have kept the sites simply natural and off grid as the rest of the retreat, nor any noise disturbance. The biggest campsite is situated under a 200 year old oak tree- most likely the oldest in South Africa. It can easily accommodate 3-4 vehicles/tents. The other six sites are under smaller oaks and along the little mountain stream. The farm dam for swimming is just 2 minutes from the camps and a network of adventurous hiking trails - from easy to strenuous - lead into gorges and up to beautiful peaks.
  • Additional Comments: Bush camp on a private mountain reserve on a farm
  • Special rules: No loud (radio, cd, mp3) music except for drumming or guitar. No generators if other campers are sharing the camp grounds
  • Other: 3 cosy cottages
